Panel Discussion: Thinking About the Modern City
At the panel discussion “Thinking About the Modern City”, Slobodan Jović, Commissioner of the Republic of Serbia’s participation at the 18th Venice Architecture Biennale, presented the project “In Reflection”, which explores the legacy of Yugoslav modernist architecture in Africa, with a special focus on the Lagos Trade Fair Complex, designed by architect Zoran Bojović.
Aleksandar Bede introduced the research project “Banat – West Coast”, focusing on the Banat region and the Begej River in Vojvodina and Romania, analyzing its significance in urban and spatial contexts.
At the end of the panel, Dragana Konstantinović and Miljana Zeković presented the book “Novi Sad – A Modern City”, which highlights the architectural heritage and development of modern Novi Sad.
